Megan and Andrew’s Wedding

Love was in the air for the wedding of Megan and Andrew on May 13. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom, and spring was in the air. It was such a beautiful day, and it was only made better with the love they had for one another. Megan and Andrew’s wedding was a celebration filled with family and friends.

Old Hollywood Glam Photo Shoot at The Wadsworth Mansion

Beautiful Old Hollywood Photo shoot, set on the grounds of the Wadsworth Mansion.

Even on a chilly day in April, with rain in the forecast this photo shoot was bound to be amazing. With the colors, the design, and the setting, the shoot was both exciting and inspirational.

Beginning with a color scheme of Gold, Black and Purple the scene was set by Stephanie Carmody of Tres Chic Events.  With a mix of Old Hollywood elegance and classic touches, every element of this shoot was a perfect compliment to the mansion and grounds.   Dining was staged among the trees where the beauty of nature meets sophistication. The tablescape was accentuated with a suspended chandelier of purple flowers and bouquets by Dragonfly Event. Gold chargers and glassware brought dimension to the display.

The bride exuded elegance in a lace gown that blended flawlessly with the Beaux Art style of the mansion and Dana Bartone and Company gave her the classic Hollywood look. We love it when talented vendors come together to create new and stunningly unique ideas in this space.

We were thrilled to  have this photo shoot take place at the mansion.  It was originally featured on Reverie Gallery and now we are happy share it with all of our readers, enjoy!

Featured Wedding: Melissa and Robertson 2/14/15

Love was truly in the air at the Mansion on Valentines Day last year for Melissa and Robertson.  Melissa used the Mansion space in a creative and unique way by selecting a different theme/color scheme for each space.  The East ballroom was a red lounge room for the guests to mingle, the West ballroom was all white for a romantic dining experience, and the ceremony took place in the loggia with a warm pink glow. We loved the ceremony arbor with draping white fabric, candles, and rose petals.  The chairs for the ceremony were accented with rhinestone and pink ribbons.  They were surrounded by loving friends and family and it was truly a beautiful sight.

The couple loved the snow, and there was plenty on hand for them. They were so excited to go outdoors and take some beautiful pictures, even in the freezing cold they were so happy and in love!  Melissa insisted on going out to the terrace for that shot of them in the snow and then said “now you have an epic winter wedding shot for your books!” That we do! It was such a pleasure being able to celebrate with them.

Roberson owns an pasta sauce business called Michaud’s Pasta Sauce. As favors, they provided each guest with a can of sauce and bow tie pasta as a symbol of them “tying the knot”.
