Friends of Long Hill Open House

The Friends of Long Hill Estate and the Long Hill Estate Authority will host their 22nd Annual Open House on Sunday, January 14th, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. The program is free, open to the public, and includes entertainment for visitors of all ages.

The event will feature docent tours, horse-drawn carriage rides provided by Allegra Farms, and live music with Lee Sylvestre.

Lee Sylvestre is a New England singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist currently residing in New Haven, CT. Although he made his debut as a solo artist just two years ago, Lee has been a working musician for the better part of the last two decades. In that time he has recorded with countless other artists as a session musician for hire. Lee’s music is a lovely intersection of various music styles. Finding itself somewhere between indie, folk and jazz, his tracks make the perfect background for a road trip or chill dinner party with your closest friends.

Visitors are encouraged to walk on the trails that surround the Mansion.

The Wadsworth Mansion is owned by the City of Middletown and operated by the Long Hill Estate Authority. The Open House is an activity of the Friends of Long Hill Estate, whose mission is to promote the use of the Estate as a public and community resource. For question, please email [email protected].
