Do you love weddings and events?  The Wadsworth Mansion has an immediate opening for an Event Supervisor.  Join our small team of event professionals who are lucky enough to work at one of Connecticut’s premier wedding venues — as in a big white house on 103 acres.

 

 

This position is part time (24-32 hours a week)

Rate: $20 per hour

 

The Event Supervisor’s primary responsibility is to be present at all Wadsworth Mansion events.  Most shifts are on nights and weekends during peak event season with occasional events during the week.  Shifts range from 4-11 hours.

 

 

The ideal candidate must be gracious and enthusiastic about weddings.  He/She must have an understanding of the hospitality and event business. Decision making skills, good judgment, calm and thoughtful approaches to issues and quick response skills are essential in addition to professionalism, customer service and conflict resolution skills.  This candidate must be a team player and be able to work in an intimate environment both independently and within a small group. The candidate must have strong work ethic and understands loyalty to an organization and other coworkers.
